Now it finally starts to look like a real house. Well not the framework around it but I really like our wall with the bricks on it. It was the right decision to take these ones

True, the house is not ready yet - but the number

Nope, no Aliens landed on our roof, we just got the preparation for our ventilation system

On Friday the first parts of our roof arrived.

We even have a ladder to stand up there and work on our tan and enjoy the view!

By now it is only a lot of metal lying around but tomorrow all will be sorted and we will even get the concrete on it. 

Finally, after 4 tries at our local government we got the approval for our roof tile - happy day for us!

And today our bricks arrived as well:

Now it is time to prepare for our roofing ceremony which will take place on 1st of June

The brick layers started with putting up the inner walls, today we spent the afternoon with measurements and imagination on how we can put furniture

And today we also met some more of our future neighbors who gave us the big tour through their nearly finished house. From there we had a very nice view on our contruction site. I think we have to ask them some time soon to have such a great picture spot again.

After an eventful weekend (we've sorted out the parquet and have seen a very nice sleeping room interior) we drove to our new home today where the brick layers started with getting our walls up.

It is already much more easy for us to imagine our house now that some shapes starts to grow:

And we can see the spaces for our windows and doors as well - here for example our side entrance:

One more thing that we finished today is to put some "luck" into our house. We were allowed to hammer a lucky pence into the wall of our bay window.

This morning we had an appointment at our building site and found not only our "building sign" but also some big work going on.

Today we came back from a short skating vacation in the "Fläming area" and found that our construction site has changed again.

Some pipelines for water were already in the ground and you could see the shape of the house. On the picture you can see the view into our kitchen's bay-window.
