Finally, the oven got installed, just in time for the cold days to come. Just the reindeer skin missing to curl up in front of the fireplace

After having moved in some weeks ago we now have our first own Christmas tree:

Finally - after 7 months of decisions we now finally moved in to our new home.
Here are some impressions - if you want to see more: visitors are always welcome !

8 days to go until our big move and more and more things are ticked off.

The pavement is progressing at the back of the house:

As it is only 2,5 weeks to go until we move we have two more finished rooms: sleeping room and kitchen:

As our garden is slowly making prgress, our living room is nearly finished!

Yesterday all the material for our garden arrived - only some more days and you can enter our house without walking through sand

Yes, so much parquet arrived last weekend:

Yes, we even have time in between to work on the outside.

We now have a letterbox:

And as it is now getting dark earlier and earlier in the evening, we fixed some of our illumination:

Today our "Blower Door Test" was conducted - apparently passed very well although it did look like a de-contermination:

And by now our bathroom is nearly complete, even our bathtub is installed:

This weekend we spent our free time to continue painting our walls.

As we stayed over night again we had the chance to see the fog creeping out of the marsh in the evening:

The floor tilers started two days ago and they already finished something.

And something more happened today: they started to put the collectors for the geothermal energy (our heating system) into the ground. Looks a bit like digging for oil - have not found any so far...

Friday was the day: our garage arrived with a huge lorry.

While our heating starts to make you feel as if you were in the tropics, we still used the Sunday to get the first paint into our utility room, before even more technical appliances start to fill up the walls...
